POLYACETAL (POM-C, POM-H DELRIN)
Polyacetal has a high level of stability and rigidity combining with a low level of moisture absorption. Distinction is made between Homopolymer (POM-H) and Copolymer (POM-C) Copolymer has a greater abrasion resistance and higher impact resistance also better thermal and chemical stability than Homopolymer which has the benefit of a higher density and hardness also greater stability. Available in both rod and sheet form in Natural or Black colour. Machining qualities are excellent and is used in the manufacture of many precision components. Blue Food approved material now available in sheet and rod form. Also available in tube form in a limited range of sizes.

POLYETHYLENE (PE)
Polyethylene due to its makeup has a low mechanical strength in comparison to other thermoplastics but has a high toughness and good chemical resistance. This material is available in differing grades based on the molecular weight.
HDPE – PE300
HMWPE – PE500
UHMWPE – PE100
PE300 A low molecular weight material with a low abrasion resistance ideal for welding.
PE500 A higher molecular weight than PE300 which enables it to be used for components in low stress applications which are not subject to high levels of sliding abrasion.
PE1000 With its high molecular weight this material has greater wear properties and has good impact and noise reduction properties. Ideally suited for components that are lightly loaded, due to its excellent sliding properties.

POLYPROPYLENE (PPC)
Copolymer Polypropylene sheet is a, tough hygienic high impact resistant material used predominately within the food industry. From wall cladding in abattoirs to the cladding of refrigeration units as the material will withstand temperatures as low as -30°C. Can be fabricated, to manufacture tanks for drinking water on boats and other applications. Also, in rod form in extruded 2Mtr lengths.

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
PTFE is a unique material with a combination of thermal, chemical and electrical properties that are unmatched in any other material. With a thermal range of -200°C to + 260°C combined with a low coefficient of friction resulting in a non-stick behaviour. Available in several different forms from sheet to rod and tube, also available with a range of different fillers for specific applications.
Typical applications: include Sealing Rings, Bearings and Valve Seats.
Phenolic Laminates are manufactured by means of impregnating thermosetting resin into layers of either paper, canvas, linen or glass cloth by applying pressure and heat. When this is applied a chemical reaction occurs and transforms the separate layers into a single laminated material that cannot be softened again. With the use of these different materials the finished product can provide a range of mechanical, thermal and electrical properties.
SYNTHETIC RESIN BONDED PAPER (SRBP)
Phenolic Paper Board has excellent electrical strength with good mechanical strength. Used in medium to high voltage applications such as terminal panels, switchgear and bus bar supports.

SYNTHETIC RESIN BONDED FABRIC (SRBF)
Phenolic Fabric Bonded Board has excellent mechanical strength and electrical strength available in various grades dependent on the weave of the fabric used, in the case of very fine weave fabric this can be machined to a high finish such as the manufacture of gears, cams and pulleys.
